Color blind or color brave?

On our website under “Causes and Solutions” racism is listed as one of the many root causes of intergenerational incarceration. In this Ted Talk by Mellody Hobson – Chicago finance icon – she examines this issue at a personal level and makes recommendations for striking at this root cause by being “color brave” using means which we at the Freadom® Road Foundation call “common sense courage”.

Making a compelling case for heeding Ms. Hobson’s advice – both for ourselves and the next generation – are the words of Martin Luther King Jr. – “Love or Perish.”
