MEETING HISTORY, MEETING A FREEDOM RIDER
An important moment occurred for The Freadom® Road Foundation this past week on Tuesday, February 11, 2020.
Thomas Armstrong, author of Autobiography of a Freedom Rider: My Life as a Foot Soldier for Civil Rights appeared in person at the Lisle (Illinois) Library District to recount his incredible experiences, make his book available and afford program attendees the rare opportunity to personally meet a living legend.
