MEET DR. PEGGY SULLIVAN

We were delighted to have Dr. Sullivan as an Honored Guest at The Freadom® Fundraiser for Kids. Dr. Sullivan was the only woman in the over 140-year history of ALA to have held both positions of President and Executive Director. These distinctions are only the tip of the iceberg in Dr. Sullivan’s professional career. She has served as Dean of Graduate Schools of Library Science, authored numerous books and has inspired an award named after her.

Dr. Sullivan commented that our Fundraiser “was really very well put together.” We are encouraged!
