International Women's Day Event

Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 12 PM to 2 PM

By invitation of Queen Mother Reverend Helen Sinclair, Director of Jessie “Ma” Houston Prison Outpost of Rainbow PUSH Coalition and Vice President of The Freadom® Road Foundation, we are participating in Rainbow PUSH Coalition’s Women’s History Month Luncheon. Details for registering may be found on the link we are providing.

We will be distributing our organization’s literature and honoring women who have contributed their wisdom and talents to our mission of breaking the cycle of intergenerational incarceration. These include Dr. Margaret Burroughs, founder of the DuSable Museum of African American History, Mother Consuella York, beloved former Cook County Jail Minister for whom the Jail’s Alternative High School is named and, of course, the legendary Queen Mother Reverend Helen Sinclair.

With hats off to St. Patrick, you are invited too. Why not spend part of St. Patrick’s day with us? Look for shamrocks and green things at our exhibit table! That’s what coalitions are for!
