COMMITTED TO CONTINUE HIS LEGACY

On Friday, August 23, 2019, Maria attended the Memorial Service for the legendary Carl C. Bell, M.D. held at The Apostolic Church of God in Chicago.

At this event, she had the honor and privilege of meeting Dr. Bell’s children, Briatta Bell, and William Y. Bell IV. She shared with them how their father’s work has influenced the work of The Freadom® Road Foundation – in scope, content and enduring inspiration.

In turn, Briatta and William shared their own personal remembrances of their father’s love and continual guidance in their lives. They shared that he told them that whether he was ultimately remembered or not did not matter to him, but it did matter that “the work go on.”

Briatta, William, and Maria agreed to meet again to figure out how to collaborate so that “the work goes on” in the work of The Freadom® Road Foundation.
