April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

Preventing child abuse relates to our mission of breaking the cycle of intergenerational incarceration because child abuse is often perpetuated intergenerationally. Hampered learning, a lifetime of damaged self esteem, exploding latent anger, and likely future incarceration are among its many consequences.

“Keeping My Family Safe: A workbook about sexual abuse prevention for parents and caregivers” is an important weapon to combat this tragic situation.
